Garmin announced today that due to a limited supply of the GPSMAP 96C, it will be discontinued once the inventory is depleted. “Because of a number of discontinued parts from our suppliers, Garmin is unable to extend the life of this product. However, sufficient parts have been purchased to ensure repair and support is still available for many years to come.”
