Garmin Announces Software SB 1102 REV B for G600 equipped Aircraft

G600 System’s Software Upgrade for GDU 620 Software Version 5.00, GRS 77 AHRS Software Version 3.00, and GDC 74 ADC Software Version 3.06 REV B: Revision B of this bulletin adds more details for GRS 77, GDC 74, and GAD 43 software installation. Additional steps were added to ensure that the system is properly configured after the software installation. The bulletin was significantly revised for
clarity.

COMPLIANCE
Mandatory: For installations affected by Service Advisory 1027. Any G600 installation in an aircraft that requires a maximum airspeed indication (“barber pole”) that will change based on altitude. (GDU 620 Software Version 3.02 does not provide a means to display a maximum airspeed indication that varies with altitude.)
Recommended: For all other installations.
