Aspen Avionics Announces Dealer Training Requirement

Dealer Required Training

Aspen Avionics is pleased to announce a partnership with the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) to conduct online technical proficiency testing. This training / testing has been implemented to increase the level of system familiarity and address common installation oversights. The training will cover EFD1000 (PFD) system familiarity, planning and installation procedures, technical data including the EFD1000 Installation Manual, Flight Manual Supplement, Tech Notes, FAQs, Installation Tips and 2008 AEA National or Regional Training presentations.

This training also meets FAR Part 145 Repair Station manufacturer recurrent training requirements. Within 90 days of issuance of this memo, all Aspen Avionics Authorized Dealers must have at least one installation technician or installation supervisor successfully complete the exam. As new products are released and technical data is revised, we will continue this training and testing process to ensure technicians are adequately familiar with the Aspen Avionics product line.
