Aspen Annouces EA100 Autopilot Attitude Interface to replace KI-256

NOW ACCEPTING ORDERS – EA100 Autopilot Attitude Interface
Aspen Avionics is pleased to announce orders are being accepted for the EA100 Autopilot Attitude Interface unit. The EA100 is designed to allow the removal of aging KI256 attitude indicators.  Aspen Avionics has received FAA TSO and we expect to begin shipping EA100 units the week of August 23rd.   There has been tremendous interest in this capability. We encourage you to place your orders as soon as practical to avoid any potential backlog delays and to allow your customers to take advantage of our current August rebates.   Software version 2.2.2 will be required to perform installations of the EA100.  The service bulletin detailing v2.2.2 and associated installation manual revisions are expected to be available prior to September 3rd.
As a reminder, the following consumer rebates, including the EA100 remain in effect through August 31st:
  • $750 on EFD1000 Pro Primary Flight Display
  • $500 on EFD1000 Multi-function Flight Display
  • $350 on EFD500 Multi-function Flight Display
  • $350 on EWR50 Weather Receiver
  • $250 on EA100 Adapter for attitude-based autopilot
