AIA: Senate passes FAA reauthorization bill
By an 87 to 8 vote, the Senate approved the Federal Aviation Administration bill on Thursday, which will fund the FAA for two years. Democrats claim the FAA bill is the new Congress’ “first jobs bill” and would save or create an estimated 280,000 jobs. ABC News/The Note blog, Bloomberg, Reuters
