AOPA: Honeywell says its Synthetic Enhanced Vision System, which layers GPS with 3D virtual reality, will be available at major airports within the next few years. By offering pilots real-time updates of ground conditions plus the ability to “see through” bad weather, Honeywell believes SEVS will improve both safety and on-time performance.
