Narco HSI-100 Servicing

Occasionally a customer will bring us some “vintage” avionics equipment with troubles.  Narco Avionics has quite a few units still flying around that have not been serviced or supported by the factory for years, even decades.

The Narco HSI-100 is such a product.  It is a pretty nice, self contained Horizontal Situation Indicator.  It is, however, a handmade item, and servicing is difficult.  It has been out of production for decades and parts are hard to find.

I was, luckily, able to find two shops who still work on them!  When I inquired for tech assist, both shops responded rapidly with the needed data to help determine if it was an aircraft or unit problem.  IF you ever need help with one of these old HSI’s..these are the folks to talk to.  Thanks for the help, guys!
